Use of Additiv+

What is Additiv+?

The ego.-incubator Additiv+ "Innovative start-up for process-secure, fast, and cost-efficient production of functional prototypes" is a manufacturing lab for the production, post-processing, and quality assurance of parts and prototypes made using LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) technology.

The Additiv+ incubator and the FabLab incubator are located right next to each other. By arrangement, it is also possible to access resources from the FabLab, providing additional machines to help you implement your product ideas.

How does it work?

	The idea Are you employees or students of a research institution in the state of Saxony-Anhalt? Do you have an idea for a new product, a new service, or an innovative process? Great! You've already taken the first step!
	The first contact Tell us about it! Send an email to additiv-inkubator@ovgu.de with a brief description of your idea. Not comfortable with that? Worried someone might steal your idea? Don't worry. All employees have signed non-disclosure agreements as part of their employment contracts. Still unsure? Give us a call: 0391-67-57085
	The presentation template Now it's time to specify your idea: which maschines od Additiv+ do you want to use? What does your timeline look like? Make it concrete with our presentation template.
	The usage agreement We will review your presentation and invite you to a personal meeting. During the meeting, we will discuss any open points or potential areas for improvement. After the meeting, the official registration as an user will take place.
	The training phase Additiv+ is a "DIY workshop." We will provide you with the knowledge about the machines and equipment and enable you to operate them independently.
	Working in Additiv+ Reserve your machine or workspace. With the help of our system, unnecessary visits can be avoided, and double bookings can be prevented. Here is the Instruction for using the system.
	The project documentation How is your project progressing? Were there any setbacks, or even better, successes? What does your prototype look like? A quick photo with your mobile device is easy to take and helps us improve our support. Just send us a short project update from time to time.
